What's up, Internet? This week on the Last Word SC Radio show, Rachael Kriger and Harvey Cruz, the birthday boy, get together to talk about the chaotic and crazy Los Angeles FC win in MLS Cup 2022. The duo speaks about that penalty shootout and Harvey discusses the game being the worst loss for the Philadelphia Union, and worst in general for an MLS side.
The two then take a look at the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League and the Round of 16 draw, discussing what odds the MLS clubs have and any matches to keep an eye on in March.
Finally, the two discuss the U.S. men's national team and who they think should be on the plane to Qatar, and who will be on the plane that maybe shouldn't be for the World Cup.

On the latest episode of Last Word SC Radio, Rachael Kriger and Harvey Cruz take you through the Wednesday night U.S. Open Cup matches. Harvey licks the wounds of the New York Red Bulls, who got thrashed by Orlando City SC 5-1, while Rachael recaps the thrilling penalty shootout between Sacramento Republic FC of the USL Championship and Sporting Kansas City. For the first time 2008, a USL side is taking on an MLS side in the Final. And remember, a spot in the Concacaf Champions League is up for grabs.
Also, the duo discusses the loan of Jozy Altidore to Liga MX side Puebla, after some failed playing time with the New England Revolution. Harvey then talks about the recent debuts of two big internationals for Toronto FC, while the two then end the roundtable with the news that Eli Manning and Sue Bird are making a $40 million investment in NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League.
