In this episode of the Necessary Roughness Podcast, host Nikolas Donadic dives into the NFL regular season's Week 8 matchups. He also takes a look at the perplexing Carolina Panthers, discusses Joe Thomas’ injury, and ponders why the Dolphins went with Jay Cutler after all. Enjoy the show and join us next Saturday afternoon for the following episode!
On this Football 2 the MAX EXTRA, Sean Garmer, Gary Vaughan and Erik Watkins go in-depth for over one hour discussing all things Ezekiel Elliot Suspension.
They try to take as many angles as possible, from a legal standpoint, the league's point of view, the Dallas Cowboys and more. How does this affect the team off-the-field? Who starts at running back? And could this even be an issue on defense for the Cowboys too? Does the suspension ultimately go down on appeal? The trio cover it all here.
After that, at about the 1 hour and 10 minute mark, they get into the three-team trade, which wasn't officially a three-team trade. Can it officially be called a rebuilding year for the Buffalo Bills? What does the addition of Sammy Watkins do for Jared Goff? Can Ronald Darby be an answer for the Philadelphia Eagles defensive back depth? Is this a downgrade for Tyrod Taylor? And can Jordan Matthews help the receiving core.
Finally, Ryan Tanehill officially has ACL surgery, could this be his last year as a Miami Dolphins quarterback?
We continue discussing the NFL divisions here on Football 2 the MAX.
This episode, is all about the AFC East. Aaron Earlie joins us to talk
