miss our Big Ten Conference 2016 Preview.
Due to the NFL regular season nearly coming to a close and another holiday happening on Thursday night into Friday, we are basically doing two podcasts on one night. Don't worry, we will still be doing all the things we normally do, plus talk about some of the big news of the day like Chip Kelly fired from his position as Philadelphia Eagles head coach and more.
We kick things off with a short post-game for the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos Monday Night Football game. This leads
directly into discussing if the Broncos could go far in the playoffs and how AJ McCarron's injury will affect the Bengals going forward. Then we end things here by talking about Peyton Manning and if we believe the HGH reports (10:00-26:05)
After that, we do a mixture of looking back at NFL Week 16, discussing the games that mattered, our level of concern for each of the playoff teams, and we also do a full NFL Week 17 Preview in here as well making predictions for all of the games and how they affect the playoff scenarios. We also talk about Chip Kelly Fired as Eagles coach, Gus Bradley staying as Jacksonville Jaguars coach, and more in there as well. (26:05-1:47:07)
Then we finish things out with our Top 5 Power Rankings, our Player of the Week and the final College Bowl predictions as well (1:47:07-End.)
This edition of the podcast is coming out a little early due to the holidays, so we basically just start out doing the NFL Week 16 Preview (10:00-1:14:45.)
We discuss and breakdown all the games happening this week, answer questions about the teams that matter, take a look at some key fantasy matchups that will be important for those Fantasy Football Championship games and more.
Then we finish things out by going over some of the College Bowl games (1:14:45-End) and making predictions from
the Bahamas Bowl to the Quick Lane Bowl. We will do the rest on our NFL Week 16 Recap podcast on Tuesday morning.
We kick things off with a short post-game for the Monday Night Football shootout between the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints (6:00-17:10.) Even though it didn't matter for playoff contention, there are questions facing the coaching staffs for both teams. We try to answer those as well as discuss some key points about the game as well.
After that, we get into the main portion of our program with our NFL Week 15 Recap (17:10-1:18:44) where we discuss all the games, breakdown the keys
to the win and the loss, answer questions about the teams that matter, and look at some other things too. Don't miss our NFL Week 15 Recap.
Randy goes through the College Bowl games that have happened to this point and we make predictions from the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl until the GoDaddy.com Bowl (1:18:44-1:25:07) and leave the rest for our NFL Week 16 Preview podcast on Thursday morning.
Finally we end things with a look at our NFL Pick'em standings, Gary's Top 5 Fantasy Football pickups for the Championship games, our Top 5 Power Rankings, and our Player of the Week (1:25:07-End)
Football 2 Futbol: NFL Week 13 Preview, Packers vs. Lions MNF Miracle, & College Football Conference Championships
We kick things off today with a short post-game on the Thursday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions (2:00-10:05.) Did that hail mary catch save the Packers season? Will this be a loss that haunts the Lions the rest of the way? We discuss those things and more.
After that, we get into the main portion of the show with our NFL Week 13 Preview (10:05-1:12:45.) We go game by game asking questions about each team, playing some games, and also answering some
tough fantasy questions as well, while also making predictions on each game too.
We finish things out by making predictions on the huge College Football Conference Championship games (1:12:45-End) happening on Saturday as well.
We kick things off today with a short post-game on the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Monday Night Football game (5:45-20:20.) The game was a close one up to the final play and the Browns even had to bring in Austin Davis to replace Josh McCown. Should the Browns just use these final games to evaluate Austin Davis instead of even thinking about Johnny Manziel? Who should Baltimore Ravens fans and coaches be looking at as nice pieces for next season? We discuss these things and more.
Then we get into the main portion of our program with our NFL Week 12 Recap (20:20-1:35:35.) Where we go game by game discussing the keys to the wins and losses. We also ask questions about all the teams that played and take a look at the muddy playoff picture in both conferences. Who could be those wildcard teams at the end of the season? We try to figure out that out and more.
Randy takes us through the final proper week of the College Football (1:35:35-1:41:50) season and we take an early look at some of the Conference Championship games too.
We finish things out with Gary's Fantasy Football pickups for Week 13, our Top 5 Power Rankings, and our Player of the Week as well (1:41:50-End.)
Football 2 Futbol: NFL Week 12 Preview, NFL Thanksgiving Games Recap, & Is the parody in the NFL actually good?
We kick things off by doing a recap of the three NFL on Thanksgiving Day games (3:55-23:10) that occurred and wonder if anyone left on the Carolina Panthers schedule is going to beat them.
Then we get into the main part of the podcast for our NFL Week 12 Preview where we ask questions about each team, and of course make predictions on each game as well. This went from (23:10-1:28:38, around the 1:13:00 mark we had a listener call-in to the show, which took the segment to the time listed. He talked to us about his Philadelphia Eagles for a bit and we also discussed the Johnny Manziel benching situation there.)
Coming into Week 12, 23 out of 32 teams are either at 500 or below it. Obviously, there are week's left to play in the season, but this can't be what the NFL wants can it? So, we discuss the NFL's parody and if it really is as good as it is perceived to be. (1:28:38-1:35:25)
We finish things out by giving our predictions on the big College Football games that happened on Saturday (1:35:25-End)
