Wrestling 2 the MAX Episode 158: WWE Summerslam 2015 Fallout, ROH Field of Honor 2015 Review, W2M Podcast turns 3 years old, & More

This week on W2M, we headline with a lot of talk about the Summerslam 2015 Fallout, ROH Field of Honor 2015 Review and discussions about a variety of topics.

This show also marks our third year of existence, as we celebrate and look back a little bit at what we’ve been through during all that time. However, don’t fret because this show is not all about reliving memories, we have plenty of current stuff to discuss.

We begin with Quick Hits (8:00-61:00,) where we discuss NXT doing a Takeover

in England, Kayfabe making it into the dictionary, Jushin Liger having a WWE deal, WWE talking to Rey Mysterio again, Sting getting a WWE Title shot, Dudley Boyz signing multi-year full-time deals, new divas joining NXT and more.

Then we go through the WWE RAW after Summerslam by storyline (61:00-125:00) and we review the Pre-Takeover episode of NXT (125:00-147:30.)

After that, we give our thoughts on the ROH Field of Honor 2015 (148:00-175:00) show and ROH’s newest episode of TV (175:00-181:00.)

We end things with talking about another TNA Impact episode (181:30-196:00) and we do our W2M Power Rankings (196:00-End) as well.

Wrestling 2 the MAX Special # 12: WWE Summerslam 2015 & NXT Takeover Brooklyn Reviewed

We headline tonight with a double whammy of a WWE Summerslam 2015 Review & a NXT Takeover Brooklyn Review.

We officially announce a partnership between W2M and Wrestling Unwrapped for our WWE PPV and NXT Takeover Specials. From now on, unless unavailable for other reasons, Sean, Gary, and Paul will be permanently joined by Harry Broadhurst and Patrick Ketza to review the monthly WWE special event and also whenever NXT has a Takeover special.

This weekend happened to include both shows

on consecutive nights, so it just falls nicely into our laps. We breakdown what happened on both NXT Takeover Brooklyn and WWE Summerslam 2015 and also talk about what to expect for RAW on Monday and future storylines.

We also give our best moment, worst moment, best match, and MVP of each show. There is a lot to dig into for both of these shows, so this should make for an enjoyable listen.

Wrestling 2 the MAX Episode 157: WWE Summerslam 2015, NXT Takeover Brooklyn, & ROH/NJPW Field of Honor Previews

We headline this week with a trifecta of Previews. We do a WWE Summerslam 2015 Preview, a NXT Takeover Brooklyn Preview, and a ROH/NJPW Field of Honor Preview as well.

Sorry that it seems we've had some long episodes lately, but this one might be another one. We are joined by Wrestling Unwrapped Podcast co-host Harry Broadhurst for a lot of the show, as there are three huge shows happening this weekend from four different companies and we will have previews for each one.

However, we

start with Quick Hits (8:00-54:00), where we talk about ESPN and WWE possibly having a deal to cover more major WWE events. ROH and New Japan are going to have a big announcement, WWE has interest in Biff Busick and Rich Swann, NXT could do more shows based around WWE PPV's and a whole lot more.

We then get into our review of the go-home WWE RAW (55:00-124:00) by storyline and then transition into our WWE Summerslam 2015 Preview (125:00-167:00) giving our predictions and thoughts on what might happen on the big event of the summer.

After that, it is time to move over to NXT (168:00-182:00) and discuss their go-home show. Then we do our NXT Takeover Brooklyn Preview (183:00-207:00) as well.

Not to be outdone, ROH gets into the action with their ROH TV (208:00-215:00) show this week and then they have a major show as well that we have to preview, which is their Field of Honor (216:00-228:00) show that features some major New Japan talent.

We finish things out with talking about TNA Turning Point (228:00-243:00) and we get to our W2M Power Rankings (243:30-End).

Wrestling 2 the MAX Episode 156: NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview, WWE RAW, W2M Match of the Month, Triplemania XXIII Review, & More

This week on W2M, we have another mega show with a NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview, Sean breaks down what happened on Nights 15 and 16 of the G1 as well on this show. There's also our Triplemania XXIII Review, which could also be the funniest and saddest segment we've ever done at the same time. In conjunction with that review, we also look at where Triplemania ranks among some of wrestling's worst ever PPV's. If you include all of the other stuff we normally cover, looks

like there is going to be a ton of stuff here.

We begin the podcast the way we always do with Quick Hits (8:00-68:00) Where we discuss such news items as Lucha Underground moving to a new location and not returning until 2016, Chyna announcing that Playboy screwed her out of a World Title opportunity, New Japan possibly doing US PPV again for WK 10, this whole Kevin Owens and Kevin Dunn deal and more.

We breakdown RAW (69:00-125:00) by storyline and wonder if Stephen Amell chose the right career path. We take a look at NXT (126:00-144:00) and see how the continuing buildup to NXT Takeover Brooklyn is going.

After that, we virtually travel to Mexico and go through a myriad of emotions as we review Triplemania XXIII (145:00-183:00) and wonder if AAA even cares about the production of their supposed biggest show of the year.

Sean takes us through the important things you need to watch from Nights 15 and 16 of the NJPW G1 Climax 25 (184:00-208:00) and then we do a NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview and go through some of the important matches happening in the last few nights of the tour.

Then we end things by checking out the first week of the GFW vs. TNA Invasion (209:00-233:30) and if it is really going to work.

Next is the weekly look at ROH TV (234:00-242:30) and then we do our Top 5 W2M Rankings (243:00-End) for the week, as well as discuss what is the best match of July 2015 and who was the best wrestler of July as well.
