Another week closer to the NFL Draft and another crazy deal happened as
well. This time for the number two pick in the draft went to another
team. The Eagles and Browns trade now sees the Eagles poised to take one
of the Quarterbacks, while the Browns can stock up on picks. It is even
possible that the Browns trade down again before it is all said and
There’s also the big news of Josh Norman being untendered by the
Carolina Panthers and allowed to become an unrestricted free agent. We
discuss where he could land and if this shakes up the draft at all.
Finally, we end our NFL Off-Season Analysis by looking at the entire NFC
East in one show. Last Word on Sports Writer Quinton Mayo makes his
debut on the podcast talking about the Washington Redskins, Wayne Curtis
joins us to talk Dallas Cowboys, Brandon Biskobing returns to blab
about the New York Giants, and Anthony Rouh makes another appearance to
give his perspective on the big trade and his Philadelphia Eagles.
So, it should be a packed show and we will return on Tuesday morning
with our huge 2016 NFL Draft Preview, which also includes our mock draft
of the first round as well.
-------------- Time Stamps -------------
(4:00-36:00) NFL News: Breakdown of Eagles and Browns trade and what it means for the 2016 NFL Draft, Josh Norman loses Franchise Tag, DeMarcus Lawrence possibly to be suspended four games.
(36:00-59:00 Includes Interview) Washington Redskins
(59:00-1:19:00 Includes Interview) Dallas Cowboys
(1:19:00-1:38:00 Includes Interview) New York Giants
(1:38:00-End Includes Interview) Philadelphia Eagles
We kick things off tonight by discussing all of the coaching changes and
decisions by teams, including the surprise firing of Lovie Smith, Tom
Coughlin stepping down, Sean Payton staying in New Orleans and more.
Then we transition to going game by game and doing a NFL Wildcard
Weekend Preview, discussing each game, going over strengths and
weaknesses of each team and also giving out predictions for them as
well. We also go ahead and give predictions for the rest of the NFL
Playoffs here as
Finally, we spend a little time talking about the National Championship Game that happens on Monday night.
Due to the NFL regular season nearly coming to a close and another
holiday happening on Thursday night into Friday, we are basically doing
two podcasts on one night. Don't worry, we will still be doing all the
things we normally do, plus talk about some of the big news of the day
like Chip Kelly fired from his position as Philadelphia Eagles head
coach and more.
We kick things off with a short post-game for the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos Monday Night Football game. This leads
discussing if the Broncos could go far in the playoffs and how AJ
McCarron's injury will affect the Bengals going forward. Then we end
things here by talking about Peyton Manning and if we believe the HGH
After that, we do a mixture of looking back at NFL Week 16, discussing
the games that mattered, our level of concern for each of the playoff
teams, and we also do a full NFL Week 17 Preview in here as well making
predictions for all of the games and how they affect the playoff
scenarios. We also talk about Chip Kelly Fired as Eagles coach, Gus
Bradley staying as Jacksonville Jaguars coach, and more in there as
Then we finish things out with our Top 5 Power Rankings, our Player of
the Week and the final College Bowl predictions as well (1:47:07-End.)
We kick things off with a short post-game for the Monday Night Football shootout between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins (6:05-18:45.) Have the Giants finally found their groove? Is the Miami Dolphins defense overrated? And what now for the Dolphins now that they are done in the playoffs race.
Then we get into the main portion of the program with our NFL Week 14 Recap (18:45-2:06:00,) where we discuss what led to the win, what led to the loss for each game, analyze some tough decisions, and answer questions about the teams that matter. Plus another look at the crazy NFL playoff race in both conferences too. (We do have a call-in during the middle of this that calls to talk about his Buffalo Bills from 58:45-1:14:30. So that's why the Recap portion went a little longer than normal.)
Finally, we end things with a preview for the Thursday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Bucs and the St. Louis Rams (2:06:00-2:12:50.)
Gary has his Fantasy Football Playoff waiver wire pickups and we have our Top 5 Power Rankings and the Player of the Week as well. (2:12:50-End)
We kick things off by doing a short post-game for the ridiculous Monday
Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins
(4:30-14:45.) We wonder if Washington is still the favorite in the
division after their last minute loss and if the Cowboys should actually
have some belief after the big win.
After that, we get into the main portion of our program where we go game
by game and do a full NFL Week 13 Recap (14:45-2:09:35) asking
questions about every team, look at the
playoff standings, who played well, who didn't, and who's on the way to playing well into January.
Randy takes us through the College Football Conference Championship
games (2:09:35-2:20:30) and we give some early thoughts on what the
National Title game might look like.
Finally, we end things with Gary's Fantasy Football Week 14 waiver wire
pickups, the Top 5 Power Rankings, and our Player of the Week too
We kick things off today with a short post-game on the Thursday Night
Football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions
(2:00-10:05.) Did that hail mary catch save the Packers season? Will
this be a loss that haunts the Lions the rest of the way? We discuss
those things and more.
After that, we get into the main portion of the show with our NFL Week
13 Preview (10:05-1:12:45.) We go game by game asking questions about
each team, playing some games, and also answering some
tough fantasy questions as well, while also making predictions on each game too.
We finish things out by making predictions on the huge College Football
Conference Championship games (1:12:45-End) happening on Saturday as
We kick things off today with a short post-game on the Baltimore Ravens
vs. Cleveland Browns Monday Night Football game (5:45-20:20.) The game
was a close one up to the final play and the Browns even had to bring in
Austin Davis to replace Josh McCown. Should the Browns just use these
final games to evaluate Austin Davis instead of even thinking about
Johnny Manziel? Who should Baltimore Ravens fans and coaches be looking
at as nice pieces for next season? We discuss these things and more.
Then we get into the main portion of our program with our NFL Week 12
Recap (20:20-1:35:35.) Where we go game by game discussing the keys to
the wins and losses. We also ask questions about all the teams that
played and take a look at the muddy playoff picture in both conferences.
Who could be those wildcard teams at the end of the season? We try to
figure out that out and more.
Randy takes us through the final proper week of the College Football
(1:35:35-1:41:50) season and we take an early look at some of the
Conference Championship games too.
We finish things out with Gary's Fantasy Football pickups for Week 13,
our Top 5 Power Rankings, and our Player of the Week as well
We kick things off by doing a recap of the three NFL on Thanksgiving Day games (3:55-23:10) that occurred and wonder if anyone left on the Carolina Panthers schedule is going to beat them.
Then we get into the main part of the podcast for our NFL Week 12 Preview where we ask questions about each team, and of course make predictions on each game as well. This went from (23:10-1:28:38, around the 1:13:00 mark we had a listener call-in to the show, which took the segment to the time listed. He talked to us about his Philadelphia Eagles for a bit and we also discussed the Johnny Manziel benching situation there.)
Coming into Week 12, 23 out of 32 teams are either at 500 or below it. Obviously, there are week's left to play in the season, but this can't be what the NFL wants can it? So, we discuss the NFL's parody and if it really is as good as it is perceived to be. (1:28:38-1:35:25)
We finish things out by giving our predictions on the big College Football games that happened on Saturday (1:35:25-End)
Sean, Gary, and Randy kick things off with a short post-game for the
Thursday Night Football game between the Tennessee Titans and the
Jacksonville Jaguars. We discuss the things that led to the win for the
Jags and the loss for the Titans. We also wonder if the Titans season
is over and if Jaguars really proved they could win the AFC South with
this big win.
After that, we get into our NFL Week 11 Preview, where we answer general
questions and fantasy football questions about each team, as
well as, give an actual prediction on each game too.
Randy takes us through the big games happening this week in College
Football and we make predictions on those to round out the show.
