Wrestling 2 the MAX Episode 156: NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview, WWE RAW, W2M Match of the Month, Triplemania XXIII Review, & More

This week on W2M, we have another mega show with a NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview, Sean breaks down what happened on Nights 15 and 16 of the G1 as well on this show. There's also our Triplemania XXIII Review, which could also be the funniest and saddest segment we've ever done at the same time. In conjunction with that review, we also look at where Triplemania ranks among some of wrestling's worst ever PPV's. If you include all of the other stuff we normally cover, looks

like there is going to be a ton of stuff here.

We begin the podcast the way we always do with Quick Hits (8:00-68:00) Where we discuss such news items as Lucha Underground moving to a new location and not returning until 2016, Chyna announcing that Playboy screwed her out of a World Title opportunity, New Japan possibly doing US PPV again for WK 10, this whole Kevin Owens and Kevin Dunn deal and more.

We breakdown RAW (69:00-125:00) by storyline and wonder if Stephen Amell chose the right career path. We take a look at NXT (126:00-144:00) and see how the continuing buildup to NXT Takeover Brooklyn is going.

After that, we virtually travel to Mexico and go through a myriad of emotions as we review Triplemania XXIII (145:00-183:00) and wonder if AAA even cares about the production of their supposed biggest show of the year.

Sean takes us through the important things you need to watch from Nights 15 and 16 of the NJPW G1 Climax 25 (184:00-208:00) and then we do a NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals Preview and go through some of the important matches happening in the last few nights of the tour.

Then we end things by checking out the first week of the GFW vs. TNA Invasion (209:00-233:30) and if it is really going to work.

Next is the weekly look at ROH TV (234:00-242:30) and then we do our Top 5 W2M Rankings (243:00-End) for the week, as well as discuss what is the best match of July 2015 and who was the best wrestler of July as well.

Wrestling 2 the MAX Episode 155: AAA Triplemania 23 Preview, WWE Divas Tag Titles, RAW, Ultima Lucha Part 2 Review, & More

This week on W2M, we are going to be heavy on promotions not based in the United States. AAA is having the 23rd edition of their Wrestlemania called Triplemania on Sunday night. So, we are going to do a Triplemania 23 preview on the back of the season finale of Lucha Underground as well, in our Ultima Lucha Part 2 Review. So, we will discuss what we've thought of the season, what we liked, what we disliked, and more.

We are also going to discuss how we think things have gone for the New

Japan G1 Climax 25 now that we've passed the half way point.

However, we start with Quick Hits (6-68:00) where we give Paul the floor to discuss his feelings on the passing of Roddy Piper, the listing of WWE 2K16 features, a possible Divas Tag Team Title, The Submission Sorority is bad, Paige on the Stone Cold podcast, Bash at the Beach coming back maybe? And more.

Then we do our review of WWE RAW (69:00-110:00) by storyline and also discuss NXT (111-128:00) as well. After that it is all about Ultima Lucha Part 2 (129:00-167:00) and we also do an end of season wrap-up on the show as well.

Wrestling 2 the MAX Extra # 17: NJPW G1 Climax 25 Nights 10 & 11 Reviewed

New Japan held shows in Sendai and Iwate on Tuesday and Wednesday for Nights 10 & 11 of the G1 Climax 25 tournament. Both Blocks were in action and Sean has the low down on everything that happened.

Due to an error found in the video for Night 10, New Japan didn't upload it to NJPW World until really late last night. So, this is why I'm having to combine both nights again.

Night 10 in Sendai featured Block B action with mostly good matches, but with only one standout match.

Night 11 in Iwate featured Block A action with a few stinkers, a pretty good match, and a great main event.

Remember you can check out all my other recaps of the G1 Climax 25 tournament right here. You can also read my written reviews here:

Wrestling 2 the MAX Extra # 16: NJPW G1 Climax 25 Nights 8 & 9 Reviewed

I had quite a few things to do on Saturday, so I decided just to combine nights 8 and 9 on one podcast.

Night 8 was in Osaka and combined to deliver some great matches and interesting results.

Night 9 was in Nagoya and they delivered simpler matches, but still a very good show overall.

What were the best matches? What do you need to go back and watch? Who stood out on these shows? Sean breaks it all down from both nights.

Sean also previews Night 10 and discuss the latest on the

pick'em situation as well.

Sean: 26-19 Paul: 32-13
